Getting Started with AERIE
To begin your journey with AERIE, the first step is to create your account. AERIE provides a user-friendly interface that streamlines the entire NFT minting process. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Simply navigate to aerie.volary.io.
Step 2: Click on the “sign-up” button to begin the registration process. AERIE values your privacy and security, so you can rest assured that all your personal information will be handled with utmost care.
During the registration process, you’ll be asked to provide your first name, last name, email address, and password. Make sure to choose a strong password and enter it again to confirm. Additionally, you’ll need to tick the Terms & Privacy Policy box to indicate your agreement with AERIE’s policies. Once you’ve filled in the required information, click on the “register” button.
Step 3: After completing the registration, a verification email will be sent to the email address you provided during the sign-up process. Check your inbox, locate the email from AERIE, and click on the “Verify email” link to confirm your account. This step ensures that you have control over the email address associated with your AERIE account.
As an account holder, you’ll be provided with administrator-level access, a DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) address, and private keys. These credentials are crucial for accessing and managing your digital assets, so it’s essential to store them securely. Make sure to keep them in a safe and confidential location to prevent unauthorized access.
AERIE places great emphasis on security. To enhance the protection of your account, AERIE offers Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) login. By downloading your credentials, you can take advantage of the ZKP login process. This innovative approach allows your private keys to be validated on the blockchain without revealing any personal information to the network or hosting system, ensuring your privacy remains intact.
Logging In
With your account created and your credentials securely stored, you can now log in to AERIE. Simply enter your registered email address and password on the AERIE login page. If you’ve chosen ZKP login, follow the prompts to authenticate your private keys securely.
Preparing Your Digital Asset
Before you mint your first NFT, ensure that you have your digital asset ready. This can be an artwork, a photograph, a GIF, a video, or any other file type supported by AERIE. Make sure your asset meets the required specifications, such as file format and size, to ensure optimal viewing and compatibility.

Minting Your NFT
Now comes the exciting part — minting your NFT. AERIE offers a straightforward process to create and customize your NFT. Follow the prompts provided by AERIE to select the file you want to tokenize, define the attributes and utility of your NFT, and choose the blockchain network on which you wish to mint it. AERIE supports multiple networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and more, providing flexibility and interoperability.
Step 1: Before we begin, ensure you’re logged on to your AERIE account. On the left-side panel, click on “NFTs,” then select “Create NFTs” to initiate the minting process.
Step 2: Fill in the details of your NFT
Network Selection: Choose the blockchain network on which you want to mint your NFT. AERIE supports various networks, including Ethereum, Binance Chain, Polygon, and more.
Client Assignment (Optional): You have the option to assign this NFT to a specific client for better management.
Contract Type Selection: Choose the type of contract you want for your NFT. Options include ERC-721 for single NFTs, ERC-1155 for multiple copies of the same file, or Soulbound for non-transferable NFTs.
Smart Contract Choice: You can opt to use AERIE’s default smart contracts or deploy your custom contract.
NFT Details: Enter the number of NFTs you want to mint and upload the file you wish to tokenize. This file could be a piece of artwork, a video, or any unique digital asset.
Title and Description: Give your NFT a captivating title and write a short description to enhance its appeal.
Personalized Endpoint: Choose a name to be at the end of your NFT’s URL, adding a personalized touch.
Unlockable Content (Optional): If your NFT includes exclusive content that can only be revealed to the owner, enable this feature by toggling the button to green.
Individual File Encryption (Optional): For added security and uniqueness, you can individually encrypt your NFT’s master file.
Client ID (Optional): If you want to attribute this NFT to a specific client, you can add their client ID.
Review and Confirm: Once you’ve filled in all the necessary details, click on “Review” to see a summary of your NFT’s information. Double-check everything to ensure it looks perfect!
Step 3: After reviewing and confirming the details, click on “Create” to mint your NFT on AERIE.
Adding Unique Attributes and Perks
AERIE goes beyond basic NFT minting by offering dynamic functionality. After minting your NFT, you have the option to enhance it by adding unique attributes and perks. This could include additional artwork, bonus content, exclusive access, or any other value-adding elements that enhance the overall NFT experience. AERIE allows you to update and upgrade your NFTs even after they are minted, providing endless possibilities for customization.
Assigning Ownership and Provenance
A crucial aspect of NFTs is establishing ownership and provenance. AERIE leverages self-sovereign decentralized identity (SSDID) to provide real-world attribution to NFT owners. As you mint your NFT, you can associate it with a client ID or SSDID, ensuring traceability and transparency.
